Dr. Monica Petroski

As a licensed clinical psychologist, Dr. Petroski provides a supportive and motivating environment that helps patients develop practical coping strategies and confidence in facing life’s challenges. Her warm, easygoing style and sense of humor help patients feel comfortable while exploring new possibilities for growth and building personal resilience.

Dr. Petroski brings extensive experience working with individuals across the life span, from children and adolescents to older adults, as well as with family members and caregivers. She has helped patients navigate a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, adjustment to new medical or life circumstances, chronic and terminal health conditions, and grief. She also has significant experience with dementia and other cognitive impairments, Autism, and ADHD. With compassion and clarity, she supports patients as they process unexpected life changes, major losses, recover from traumatic experiences, including sexual abuse, and regain a sense of stability and direction.

Her clinical approach is informed by a strong foundation in evidence-based therapies. She integrates a person-centered orientation with modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)-informed techniques, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailoring interventions to each patient’s needs and goals.
