Michael Hart

Welcome, it’s wonderful to meet you and thank you for taking the time to read my profile. 

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I have a master’s degree in social work from Fordham University. I come from an education background, and I taught for many years before transitioning into therapy. I have worked with a wide variety of clients who were dealing with mental health issues as well substance use issues. I have worked in rehabs, hospitals, and outpatient facilities and my experiences have shaped my practice because people have taught me so much by allowing me to interact and work with them. 

If you are someone who feels alone in a crowd or when asked how they are doing always says “I’m fine”, we should talk. If you feel stuck, I can help. You don't have to continue feeling isolated or that you're the only person experiencing what you are going through. Having someone to talk to about your issue can be a tremendous relief and is the first step towards healing.
