Maria Meagher

I work with clients in navigating a range of emotional and psychological challenges including depression, anxiety, trauma, anger management, relationship issues, codependency, grief & loss, life transitions and self-esteem concerns. I also work to support individuals from diverse backgrounds including: LGBTQ +, first generation American, bicultural, and/or any clients experiencing cultural or identity related stressors. 

My approach is collaborative and integrative drawing primarily from cognitive-behavioral therapy, person-centered therapy and trauma informed care. 

I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe to explore their thoughts, emotions and experiences at their own pace.  My hope is that therapy becomes a space where clients can reconnect with their strengths, gain clarity and begin to make choices that align with who they truly are.
